Uganda Athletics Federation’s performance team for the 3rd Africa Cross Country Championships led by Abdallah Muhammad has set sight on athletes as listed through this article in preparation for the championship.

The athletes will be monitored and given a programme that will help them peak towards the Africa event that is due March 16, 2014 at the Kololo Ceremonial grounds.

The team will only be trimmed down after the national cross country championships that will take place in January at the venue.

The Organising Committee will also have a corporate run during this 3rd Edition of the Africa Cross Country Championship where each team will pay Shs. 5m to register on a first come, first serve basis. The money from the corporate sponsorship will cater for the team’s training as Uganda seeks to win all the continental titles that will include men and women, junior and senior category. The Federation has however left room for new talents that might prove to be better come the national championships.
